Matt Hyzer's thoughtful piano arrangements remind me of one of the greats of a previous generation - Kurt Kaiser. Harmonically inventive. Tasteful. Respectful of the tune. And though they are never sung - one can "hear" the lyrics of these great melodies hidden in Matt's sensitive performances.
